              @isazi it’s a pity, but thanks.

                @tomasbartko it is the same app that runs on iOS, similar to how Windows can run the Android Suunto App

                  @isazi Got it. Well I upgrade approx. once every 10 year. Now I need to wait 6 more years, 6 more years …

                    @Ars-Vitae it is pretty easy to run the SA on a PC using an Android emulator. This is discussed on this forum in another thread.

                      @MdzOtt Thanks, but luckily for me I am an Apple device user.

                        @Ars-Vitae this is probably not the right place to discuss this, as you are talking about Suunto App and not Sports Tracker.

                        I am aware of this, but Sports Tracker has a lot to do with some of the issues I have raised. For example, with the collection of my activity data on the server. But if you’re already writing about it, I have a question: what is actually the difference in functionality between Sports Tracker and the Suunto App in the desktop version, if we observe similar data in both apps? Apart from the difference, of course, that Sport Tracker is in the Web version and the Suunto App is a separate app.

                          @Ars-Vitae I am not sure what do you want to know, Sports Tracker and Suunto App share the same technology, the difference being that Sports Tracker is aimed at people not having Suunto watches, and Suunto App is for people that have Suunto watches.

                            @isazi That is, at a functional level, they are doing virtually the same thing. This is the kind of information I was looking for. Many thanks. And on that second point, what does Suunto do with my data, the one that displays in both apps. Does it store them for life for the duration of my account activity? Can I archive them for myself after a period of time?

                              @Ars-Vitae you can ask to have a copy of your data from support, and also to have all your data deleted (that should be automatic when you delete your account).
                              As for how long your data will be available in the Suunto Cloud, I guess until Suunto is paying the bill 🙂
