With previouse (s5) watch i didn’t care much about watch face, as there was no store and i just picked one of available on watch and thats it. But now with Race 2 as this nice watch faces come out i like to change them based on mood. When on holiday in mountains i change to some UMTB with mountains in background, now when it is time for crosscountry skiing i chose snow slash. During chrismas i even had tree for few days. I never understood why are people so obsesed with watch faces but now i become one 😄 so i am waiting for any new, and cycling season will be here sooner than we think 😄
I only strugle which one to choose for next visit to Madeira (it has beautiful sea and beautifull mountains too) may i ask for one where whale jumps over hills ? 😄

@pavel.samokha Light Flow watch face is nice, but I feel like having seconds on any Suunto watch face is kind of useless because seconds stop working after a short timeout. I’d rather have more complications.

I really prefer having the seconds visible at all times, so I use the seconds complication on the Athletics face. I also customized the Ocean face to look like the classic Outdoor style with permanent seconds. Ultimately, the need for more complications outweighed every other design choice.

I tested the last two as well, but my favorite is still the “athletic”. Today was extreme weather. It was a good test for the new FW.

@pavel.samokha You forgot to include bigger fonts for the complications?

As usual Suunto stick with their complications for people with 20/20 vision. Ugh…

The same with the watch alerts, too hard to read, especially on a white background!

But this works only a watch with MIP display, right? On an AMOLED watch there is no way to see complications for longer than 8-10 seconds. For this reason. having seconds on a watchface is practically useless.

@sky-runner sorry, I cannot tell you anything about newer models as I have SV1 . On the older Vertical it works as I need - not all WFs however at least Athelics and Ocean can be customized this way.

@Milan-Šádek On the Athtletics I have a seconds compilation as well!

@Milan-Šádek unfortunatelly Vertical 1 is last model with that MIP display technology. Amoled has to turn off to preserve battery. Even if you want to check time while sitting or laying on cauch at front of TV it is harder as rise to wake require some kind of preddefined movement to wake up screen and be able to see time. So seconds are almost unusablle.

@Tomas5 Thanks for the info. In this case I’ll hold onto my SV as long as it keeps working.

@Milan-Šádek you can see the time perfectly always if you have AOD with V2. It does loose some of the info but the time is visible. If you set it so raise to wake all the complications will be visible very quickly.

I have it set so I have to press a button to make it fully active.

I’m not sure if any watch faced show seconds when the watch is in “sleep mode”. Not many show seconds on the V1 either unless you press a button.

But seconds are not shown in AOD mode. That was the point of my original comment.
