Thanks! For me it is pure stress when I have to wear a watch in bed. So I do not do it anymore. Over the years tracking health helped me nothing. So I am very happy to not do it any more. Just Outdoor sports. HR Zones during sports, I like much.

I’m thinking that will be a cheaper version (materials) of the S9 S9 Baro can do everything if they allow it to do it. With the HRV tracking & using a proper algorithm can tell your stress, regeneration, sleep quality, fitness, etc. It must allows 24/7 hrv tracking && export ALL the data…

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos From Suunto’s legal perspective it should be definitely better to note it on manuals (and I guess they pay attention to this) and that’s why I supposed it was ok to press it

@Tomas5 I usually measure my HR before I get out of bed in the morning [HRV too] after a good night’s sleep. I measure for a week and then average. I repeat this every 2 months. just my 0.02€

I still use Movescount. Suunto App is getting better but I am not ready to switch for a number of reasons: a) Lack of a good web interface like Movescount. b) Lack of support for POIs and Waypoints c) Lack of some metrics like cadence, temperature, EPOC, etc d) Can’t easily copy dozens of my routes from Movescount e) Would like to be able to sync with two watches In general I tend to use the app only for the sync and do all the analysis in desktop browser on the web. So the functionality of the app doesn’t matter that much to me, but the platform matters way more.

Pressing middle button while in pause can show live HR indeed. I didn’t know about this feature. Thanks everyone! I’ll update my original post.

@André-Faria didn’t know it either ! (I find that S9PP seems pretty inspired by this one).

The older models are likely still available through resellers but it’s pretty common for companies to only promote their current models on their own site. There are some older models in the refurb section. My guess is the 9pp will possibly drop a bit in price to make way for the Race S but I do agree they would benefit with a product around the €200 - €250 mark to draw in new customers. I took the dive with a 5 peak when they were on sale as it was a safe way to try a brand I was less familiar with - and I was very happy with the move and am looking forward to the Race S.

@Sempre-Avanti said in Show me your face: Here comes my watch face and not as pretty face [image: 1720183211760-1000000819.jpg] [image: 1720183221540-profilbild.jpg] Suunt is totally new for me and I should change brand a long time ago. It works better for me than Garmin Fenix 5 I had before. Better late than never! I switched 10 years ago.

@gerasimos well yes but do we need a watch with 16 days (ocean) of battery power? Or is it enough to get at least 7 days (race s)?

Also would vote for the Race S as you should be used to AMOLED from the Apple Watch. The OHR works very good, much better then on the 5 or 9 Peak. No crazy readings for me, even if it doesn’t sit above the wrist

Touchscreen or not on a watch was never really a factor in my purchase decision, but as a left hander who wears a watch on the right and for whom every button push always involved that awkward hand contortion, now that I’ve had a touchscreen for a while I’d never want to go back to nothing but buttons.

I have a T6D, but the strap is broken. I also have a GPS POD, but that thing gave up working a while ago, guess the battery is dead.
