Update not installing?

I have a notification repeatedly popping up saying that the update download has been paused and that I should connect the watch to a charger to continue, but apart from map updates, nothing happens during charging? Any ideas?

I’m using an IPhone…

I believe this is an update to Google Play Services on the watch. It is usually a small update so is pretty quick.

It’s been showing for about 4 days?
