      Hello,

Since some weeks, I have display problems: screen seems to be burnt and some characters remain displayed, particularly visible on Suunto map Please, do you have already seen this problem and do you know if there is a solution ? Or If watch shall be sent back to Suunto for reparation ?
      Thank you !

@brad_olwin Yes, thank you. I have contacted them: I have to send back my watch to reparation service. It is taken under warranty.

@tonyg42 Suunto support center is very efficient. I sent my watch on June 2nd by DHL. It has been received on June 3rd and repared on June 4th. I’m just waiting for return. And all has been done under warranty, I didn’t pay anything.

A small word from support explains reparation : “Dear customer, I have changed the display of your device. Service includes needed gaskets, functional and waterproof testing. Water resistance of product is tested with air pressure system, no actual water is used. Products categorized as dive products are also test dived in the water. The repair includes a three (3) month service warranty, which applies if the original device’s warranty has expired. Best regards, Suunto Service Center”

              Congratulations!

@tonyg42 on my experience also the Suunto Support it’s amazing. The main question on this is if this problem returns to after 10-14 months of use that will be out of warranty of the device. Maybe also it’s not importante because at this time should be close to the end of lifetime of this product…

Yes you are right. I’m lucky because my watch is 18 months old and warranty is 2 years in France. However, I hope that lifetime is more than 2 years.
