    Same activity: the watch shows 20:54 and after the synchronization the app shows 20:49. Why the difference, where did those 5s go? Watch has been synced with the app just before the activity.

      @skydancer did you pause the activity for a few seconds?

          @skydancer Was this issue ever resolved? I’m experiencing the same issue with my Suunto 9 Peak (and looking back at my activities from Suunto 5 also same issue (1-3s)).

          After sync app shows usually total duration 2-5s shorter than shows the watch. Activities are without any stops and autopause is also off.

          It is hard to notice when you do not pay extra attention to these single seconds but for some activities 5 seconds might be a big difference (short races etc.).

            @tomkys
            it is an issue already discussed in other threads. I don’t see it critical. In races the time of the official time keeper is relevant, right? 🙂

              @freeheeler I do not see it as a critical issue either…i did not notice till yesterday 🙂 But on the other hand correct time measurement is the very basic feature of the sports watch so it deserves to be fixed I guess.

              I’m also wondering which value is right? The one on the watch or the one in the app and where are these 5 s lost? Splits on the watch are the same as the splits in the Suunto app but when I compare splits to Trainingpeaks and Strava then I see time difference on 1. km, splits for other Km match…

                @skydancer Suunto is aware of this issue. It has been noted and I suspect a fix for this will come. ATM I would believe the watch.
