I cannot see the original track, but I have experienced “weird” GPS tracks in the past far away from the Russian border (in Canada). I find that in cold weather (-25 C or lower), under the canopy of trees, and at higher speeds (over 25 km/h (e.g. going downhill on XC skis)), can produce strange tracking results. I am not sure what impact the temperature has, but it is possible that what I wear in such weather (bulky clothing) has more to do with the problem than the temperature itself.

@MdzOtt it’s summer an 30 plus. Trees all right that can be a reason but I’m hiking not faster than 4 km/h. But that the trees have such an impact…

And i have some much worse where watch completely lost GPS (i went to building for 5 minute) and than it took 20 minutes to get fix again so i have straight line on map.

@Stefan-Kersting From my experience it is even worse when you walk. The slower the walking/running/skiing speed the worse the GPS line.

@Tomas5 the track from yesterday’s hike in the finish forest. Due to the bad gps visibility that looks alright. But if you see the first screenshot from my hike along the border the pattern looks I little bit mor suspicious In my opinion

@Stefan-Kersting I would guess that GPS jamming would make GPS error much bigger but I can be mistaken, but this one looks like usual hikes with my S5 in forest.

@Tomas5 and what do you think about the first track I posted?

@Stefan-Kersting well it is hard to tell zoom level just from screenshoot and url link doesn’t work. But it looks that it is near the path, i don’t know what speed you was walking / running. But usually while hiking I get much worse results with S5. But yes it has strange “regular” shape. But it can be just random. It is just my opinion (and i am no expert on GPS) but I think that if it was jamming, path wouldn’t be so accurate.
