Suunto app sync every time I open it

Hi all, I have a suunto 9 baro. I noticed that auunto app syncs with it every time I open it, even if I open, get to home, reopen multiple times. It syncs pdi, settings, optimize gps… is it OK?

@jacopastorius in my opinion and understanding it is ok and as it is supposed to behave. At least it is exactly the way my Suunto App behaves, too, for the last years (as far as I noticed). And I have not noticed a truly significant battery drain (at all).
