Blank screen during activity

A couple of times I have this happened to me during a run: suddenly the screen goes blank. Backlight goes on and off, but nothing appears. Activity is still in progress (you can hear the alarm for laps) and you can pause and unpause it. Not until you stop the activity you finally get graphics back when “How did it go?” appears.
Anyone else experienced this?

I think this problem happens when the battery low and the watch goes into saving mode.

@vietpq Good call, that just might be it. Seems odd behaviour though if you’re completely unable to wake it up again.

did you receive low battery warning before? -
@freeheeler I’m not sure. I want to say no, but I can’t be entirely certain. Alarms are easily missed, especially now in colder weather with the watch being under the sleeve.

Yes I have had this too. Full battery, didn’t do it all the time but did it twice at the start of long runs where I needed to have the navigation. Luckily was with someone who had the route. Sent the watch back. Were you navigating a route? Now I start the activity then start navigation rather than the other way round which is what I used to do, seems OK so far. Good luck.

@Phillip-Morgan Sorry, I haven’t be using the navigation functionality. I did have Burner activated the last time this happened, I’m pretty sure.
