What is the difference between Lap avg pace vs Interval avg pace? I tend to think there are same when auto lap is turned off.

As far as I know, Interval avg pace only works if your sports mode contains an interval screen and if you actually did an interval. It is the average pace you have/had during the interval (recovery excluded). By definition, all your intervals in one setup are of the same length/duration.

Lap avg pace, on the other hand, is the average pace in the current/last lap. Which is independent of intervals or of recovery. Manually laps can be of different length/duration. I like to use it, for example, if I do cruise intervals on a track about whose distance I am sure.

@Bin-Liang From my understanding you are right, it could be that lap=interval when autolap is off.
