Invalid elevation data

Every once in a while I’ve had this odd thing happen: activity is showing little (15 m on yesterdays 32 km run) or no (0 on previous days 7 and 14 km runs) elevation. Rebooting seems to fix it, so surely it’s “just” a software glitch and nothing too serious? Watch is 9 Baro.
Sure I’m not the only who has experienced this?
