Polar H10 and Suunto Android App
-
@kripar HR belt is not supposed to connect to Suunto App at all. You don’t use the phone app for recording activities, if that’s what you were thinking. Watch connection is all you need. And again I was wrong!
-
@BrunoH I’m talking about just using the App on Android to record an activity, without the watch.
-
@kripar
Are you talking about Suunto App or some other unrelated sports activity tracking app? Because you can’t use Suunto App to record activities.Wrong again, sorry!!!

You can definitely use the app to record activities,
but I don’t think you can tie it to a belt in doing so.Solution below -
@taziden Yes you can. Go to ‘User profile - settings - heart rate sensor’
-
I think it only supports Suunto sensor. I just tried with polar and doesn’t work. It would be nice of Suunto to enable all HR sensors.
-
Somewhat related: is it possible to see the Suunto HR sensor battery level somewhere? I can see the battery status of the Polar H10 in the Polar Beat app.
-
@Dušan-Ković So is a way to connect other brands sensors to Suunto APP or not at all and only works with suunto straps?
-
@Piotr-Szuszkiewicz OP says that it works with his or her Polar H7
-
@Mauerwegler there are BT scanners/monitoring apps out there that will report battery status. I use: LightBlue on iOS.

Yes, I found out about that in another thread shortly after my post last year. But thanks!
