➰👟Track Running - count Loops wrong?
-
Folks, I’m getting desperate.
I ran 10k today (25 loops on the track).
I have deactivated autolap.
I have activated the following Suuntoplus apps under the sports profile:
Loop Pace and Loop Speed.
On first Screenshot you can see the Strava laps and on the second the Suunto laps.
Why does it count more laps and then 3 and 4 meters? I didn’t stop and I didn’t take a break.
-
Is there some sort of weird conflict arising from having two S+ loops both trying to lap at once going on? My main thought anyway.

What exactly do you mean by two S+ loops?

I suspect @The_77 has spotted the issue. If both apps are generating lap markers and they have slight offsets on when they think the start of a lap would be (4 meters, at a guess) then you will get a pattern of double loop markers.
May I suggest you use one of the apps (e.g. loop pace) to generate the lap markers and set fields on your normal activity screen for lap pace and lap speed so you can see the values you want based on those lap markers.

I can only confirm the exact same thing happened to me for the first time I tried to use those two S+. Since then, I don’t simultaneously use two applications that count the loops and there is no problem anymore. But still in my opinion, it should be explained or resolved.
