UTMB 2025

@isazi
The watch faces are nice, but there’s a catch;
As I’ve mentioned before on the forum and others, unless there’s a “switch to watch face during workouts” feature, this watch face won’t be used much at UTMB. We’ll be seeing more sports mode screens. -
Hi @isazi , this faces appears by default, or do I need to install the new watch update? In my Suunto Run I don’t have new faces at the moment
-
@Carlos-Dámaso not for Suunto Run for now, watch face support may come later for that watch
-
@isazi but not in iOS 3.0.1 for Vertical.
-
@Sportsfreund
I have the 3.1).0 (20254) beta.
The watch faces are visible. -
@martintrail I’ve set myself a big scary goal by aiming to enter my first ever trail run next May - Hoka Ultra-Trail Australia UTA11 in New South Wales Australia!
-
@safari The new faces looks great but again, the secondary information is tiny.
-
@Steven-Hambleton where did you find it? I don’t have.
-
@isazi I can see them but if I want to choose them it just says ‘Oops, something went wrong’ ( got a Suunto Ocean)
-
@Sportsfreund bei mir zeigt es auch nichts an.
-
@Sportsfreund It’s in the app!
-
Oh, it’s not to find in „my watchfaces“ but in „store“.
App 3.1.0
Watch: Vertiacl. -
@Sportsfreund So it’s a bug that I can see it in the app (Suunto Ocean)?
-
@isazi
I’ve been using it since yesterday and it looks good even though it’s a MIP screen.
-
@martintrail said in UTMB 2025:
Btw, is there anyone here who runs?
I entered UTMB, but didn’t have luck with the lottery despite having 12 stones. Next year I’ll have even more stones.
-
@sky-runner I watched a video on YouTube the other day when someone spoke about his UTMB experience. He did a charity thing and bypassed the lottery that way…
-
@martintrail Yes, about 50 ultra races now and I run a fair amount. Not interested in having to qualify for UTMB though, plenty of other great races closer to me.
-
@sky-runner What race was that for?
-
@Steven-Hambleton Full 165km UTMB. I don’t see a reason to travel to Europe for a shorter distance. Running UTMB (165 km distance) has been my dream for more than a decade.
-
@sky-runner Wow impressive! I’m doing Couch To 5K at the moment and my sister invited me to the Ultra Trail in Australia, so I said yes! It is now my big scary goal before I turn 50 in June…
This is the one I’m hoping to get a ticket for - https://uta.utmb.world/races/uta11
