Smart sensor sync to Suunto app

Should it be possible to synch a Smart sensor to the Suunto app?
I use the app for cycling & am now trying to add a Wahoo cadence sensor.
It’s just Bluetooth - should I persevere or is it not compatible with Suunto for some reason?

Was this a ridiculous enquiry?
I mean the Suunto app recognises a Pulse heart beat sensor, why not a Wahoo bicycle cadence sensor?
Wahoo says any app which recognises smart sensors should recognise their sensor.
