    Hi.

ATM, the data displayed for swimming workouts in SA is pretty much useless (same as in sports-tracker, but I guess that’s a different subject). Up until now, it wasn’t a big problem because I use training peaks for analyzing my workouts, but since I enabled the synchronization from SA to TP, I’ve lost all data about laps (based on intervals) and even the moving time, what basically makes the Training Peak’s TSS calculation useless (this is a big deal for me as my entire training plan is based on TSS).

I guess the main reason why SA doesn’t send all that data to TP is that SA itself doesn’t handle it, what made me revert the change and use movescount to synchronized with TP instead of SA (not really handy as I need the USB cable again).

Any plan on fixing this and displaying some useful data about swimming in the SA and well as sending all that data to TP?.

    Thanks. Regards,
    Diego.

@Diego-Martínez-Ballesteros So, what exactly gets sent to TP? I thought TP would give you TSS based on heart rate, no?

It sends exactly the same data that you can see in SA.

        Something like:

        • Distance: 2000m
        • Time: 1h
          …

But nothing about intervals, so no laps or rest time… so when TP gets this data it uses simple math to estimate your pace:
        2k in 1h = 3min/100m

and then, based on your swimming pace threshold, it gives you a miss-calculated TSS because, obviously, you haven’t been swimming at that pace at all, it’s just that it’s missing the rests.

I don’t use HR when swimming, that’s why the TSS is based on threshold pace.
