    Watch connection error in 6.10.7

      Since a week or so, the bluetooth connection between my Vertical 1 and my phone is disconnected after a random amount of time. If I open Suunto App and go to my watch, the app shows the following error:

      Connection Error
      There seemso to be a problem with the watch connection. Please read our troubleshooting section to fix situation

      Dismissing the message and return to the watch options in Suunto App fixes the issue and the watch is connected again for a while.

      The following actions didn’t resolve the issue:

      • Reboot of the phone
      • Reboot of the watch
      • Reinstall Suunto App
      • Re-paired the watch with the phone
      • Check if battery optimization is disabled for Suunto App

      Both Suunto App and my phone (Oneplus Nord 4, Android 16) received an update recently.

      Is anyone experiencing the same and is there any way to determine if this is caused by Suunto App or the phone OS?

        No issue for my SV1 and SA, but mine is Andriod 15

            I connect my watch only to synchronise activities and the connection is not smooth since a couple of week. I have an error and need to try several times before connection is established and synchronisation can start.

                @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Also tried that (incl clearing the cache) but the issue remained.
                I did receive a new Android update yesterday so hopefully that fixed the issue.

                  The “Connection Error” message was literally the first thing I experienced after installing 6.10.7 the other day. Phone on Android 16. Stability of connection I can’t vouch for since I only boot up the Race S watch when doing an exercise, leave phone at home, and sync afterwards before turning watch off.

                  Ah, yes, @dimitrios-kanellopoulos killing the app when seeing the “Connection Error” message was how I resolved the problem the inaugural time…

                    Unfortunately the watch was disconnected again after the Android update.

                      I have the same message for SV1 and RaceS. Fortunately a button push (on the watch) triggers the sync then

                                      Similar problem but now i can’t get my vertical paired.

                                      No problem with my connection and sync earlier. But from Today I’m not able to connect my Vertical 1 to the Suunto App.

                                      Tried to remove the “old” connection on my iPhone and vertical but can’t get a “new” one . And this task to get connected with this versions of software was working earlier. But now I’m getting confused and thinking I’m perhaps missing something or if it’s some Suunto problem?
