That was the feature that convince me to buy my Spartan. To take gpx files from Wikiloc or wherever, and to upload them to my watch.

All I could see is that I can make my own route pointing on a map, which is clearly not enough, or follow a route from my own list. At least me I never have need to follow a route I already know.

    Greetings,

@Alexander-Rosón import the gpx file? Put it on the phone, tap it and suunto app should open it , then select if you want it on the watch ?

        That’s how I do it:

        • Create it with Strava or Garmin Connect and export as GPX
        • put it on Google Drive
        • On phone: download it from Google Drive
        • Open the file with a 3rd party file explorer because on my MotoX4 the Suunto app is not presented as a possible app for those files. The 3rd party file explorer does it right.

Do I believe that this is a great solution?: in no way.
With my Fenix 5+ I just say in Garmin Connect “use it with my Fenix5+” and I’m done.

Luckily I have do this only about 1-2 times a month, so I can handle it.

Its called FX file explorer. Just tap the GPX file and you should be prompted with apps that can handle it. For me this also includes the Suunto app.

@Markus-Gietzen so that’s odd, Amaze and Total Commander did not even consider Suunto App ( not in the list) but FX really did the trick. Thanks for the tip.
