any progress for SA and Ambit?

how does the development with SA and Ambit go? still big flaws fore Ambit and SA, and it is frustrating and hear that S9 and SA work so well (even if it’s good)

I have to agree with that statement… Sadly I suspect Suunto will loose Users as a result… Quite possible me being one of them.

They will probably wait until they get some serious pressure from ambit users. The experience tells us that suunto almost made a business model out of software development under pressure by users. So they will only do it if there is enough heat. At least for ambit users, they don’t need surveys to find out what we need. We need exactly what we have now. So there you go, find the way to keep our watches fully functional and please don’t let us beg you here and ask for “new features” that you actually just going to remove only to reinvent them again and present it as a progress.

I think it is too early for breaking up with Suunto.
By all the bits and pieces I’ve picked up by now my picture in that jigsaw is that A3 will be compatible and supported by SA. To what extend? I don’t hazard a guess… my hope: full support

to be honest, how should ambit users increase pressure? By telling Suunto we’ll not gonna buy an S9?
A disappointed ambit user will exactly do that in my opinion and what can Suunto do about it? They’ll loose market share to Garmin and other brands… but Suunto will not earn any direct money when ambit users are able to use their watches for eternity… the only thing in case they think sustainable is that they keep ambit users happy for a long long time and keep them as future S9 and following watches buyers.

I was angry but my believe in Suunto now is a bit bigger.
I will tell them my angryness when they give me a definite reason…

After the first shock that I have digested quite well I see chances… when my hope and wishes get drowned I’ll also go on strike, don’t worry
