Does anyone guess why Kilian has pulse in this (awesome +4000mts ) picture in the Suunto app in the S7!!?
The white s7 is gorgeous!!
White it’s my favourite colors but i can’t see if the bezel and the buttons are silver or light black. On the suunto web site and on google it’s not clear…

Here is an example with S7 OHR, S9b (red, belt), s9b (rose, OHR). The S7 had some issues on the downhills, which is unusual but I was wearing a new band.

Though if I remember, Mi Band was rumored to give out a pulse of 70 bpm when wrapped around a roll of toilet paper.

We should consider all these comparisons out there in tests and reviews very carefully.
I think data will differ with every activity and kind of activity. And I think that there are necessary about 100 tests with predefined conditions to make a statement.
OHR is not a strap on the upper arm or a belt around the chest. Every company has different hardware and different watches. Even different watches of a company will have different readings from OHR.
And to have a scientific understanding of heart rate there are medical instruments and precise measurements. E. g. the Custo ec5000 smart for normal people and much more expensive instruments for the big players.
I think that my S7 is a watch with a OHR that is useful for daily usage, sleep tracking and to show a nice graph in some apps.

Did a 40 minute run this evening with S7 and OH1.
Apart from the beginning I’d say that’s pretty damn impressive.
It was +2 Celcius and I tried always on screen during exercise so in the beginning when I was glancing the display the cold weather might affect the OHR readings.

I have 29 HR comparisons in 2020 and probably another 50 in 2019. How many would you like to see, these are all wearing an S5 or S9 on one arm with a belt and S7 on the other arm?
