Offline Map outside of Activity?

Is the offline map available outside of an activity on the S7? Does Google Maps work offline on the S7?

you can just open the app, (on the watch and go up) that should do it .

You can also use the Suunto app on mobile for example

@Storz The downloaded map area as well as all heatmaps are available offline. Quite useful for navigating when traveling. The Suunto Outdoor map shows businesses as well.

I bought sunnto 7…
I have some problems, about offline maps my s7 dont save on watch…i already try on charge and with wi.fi (router phone).
S7 say me always download suspended…
Can you help me?

@giulio The process is:

• Configure WiFi on the watch
• Go into Suunto App and click on map options
• Select offline maps
• Select your area and confirm
• Put the watch on the charger and wait

I’ve always had successful results downloading maps

Thanks all. How do I recenter the map on my location once I start panning around?

@Storz just press/touch the center of the map and it will center on your location.
