I agree. It also takes longer to “pick a mode” rather than just pressing a button. Therefore, not suitable for races. Plus, the overall time does not add up.
Being able to pre-define my own multi-sport activity would be incredibly helpful!

why dont you use triathlon mode that i has the transitions?
You could also pause before you change to another sport so that pause time could be treated by you as transition

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is there a way to modify the pre-defined triathlon mode to use pool swimming instead of open-water? I can’t find a way to do that (I quite new to the spartan model, though). However, this feature would be nice-to-have for variety of multi-sport activities (for example, to define duathlon in similar fashion)

@dkovarik Nope there is no way atm. IT was not designed for indoor swimming. There are quite a few people that have requested it though .

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I hope you will consider it, then. I think if you do a multi-sport training repeatedly, it deserves a chance to be defined as a standalone mode. But I could live with them. However, there are plenty of duathlon races and during the race, there is no time to browse through the sports mode selection

Yeah, some thing just get no love at Suunto’s…
Focus is on running. Other sports or multisports are under represented in the community.
I guess Suunto does evaluate the data from MC and gets their priorities from there.
But maybe it is a vicious cycle… -

Guys, when in the race the score goes for tenths of a second, there is no time to change either - you will lose…: (it is very uncomfortable.
In Winter triathlon there are chespionates of the world!
In the software it was possible to make the race itself from the mode Multisport, now not.
Movescount shows all stages of a multi-sport race. in SuuntoApp is not present. -
