Hi, Given this is my first entry in this forum I am not that sure if this is the correct place to add my question - so please be gently I´m still learning 😎

I would like to set a GPS point (=POI) on Pc or smartphone and transfer this POI to my Suunto 9.
Transferring routes to my watch were no problem but setting a POI with coordinates seems to be impossible?

eg movescount - search button and then I would like to enter 47.795443 13.335771. Transfer via USB/or bluetooth data to Suunto and the watch should at least indicate the heading.
But so far I couldn’t find way to enter coordinates into movescount?😩

Any hints or tricks from the community appreciated!💪

    Regards from Salzburg/Austria/EU

You should find it under watch settings (
      http://www.movescount.com/gear ) > Navigation > POI

Unfortunately it is not possible with suunto app and the spartan/s-series.
It used to be possible if you use movescount.
There is no possibility to input coordinates on the watch. I don’t know why they’re missing out on such a crucial feature, but that’s the current state it is in.

It’s not possible YET, but will be available soon in SA. It’s still available in MC and you can sync from there as a workaround.

@QwertyBoy I wonder whats so unusual on this? Shouldnt this be a basic feature? Don´t get me wrong basically I´m not dissapointed by this S9. Or what do you think?

I noticed that this does not work also in Movescount. I am 100,00 % that worked fine few years and this februar also. You can still search in google maps with coordinates…

remember that Mapbox have stopped some things, and maybe Movescount has still not recover.
but you should be able to add POI in MC with gear/watch option ?

hi, thanks for the quick reply. As fare as I am aware the data from movescout cannot be transferred to S9 easily ? is this still correct?

                            easily no.
if you have android, you can find and use Movescount app (either in Playstore if already installed, or find apk somewhere), and it should sync this POI to your watch.
Search the forum for both SA/MCapp usage in parallel.
