New Android Diary Section
-
Nice to see that the Android app is catching up with the IOS one!
-
Keep in mind that some features will be reduced and come back again.
This is until the alignment is done and then features will be added back. -
No Sync the Step and Calories
I have to do some additional step? -
@jose-luis Logout and re-login. Had it once after the update
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I have the same issue. Tried to log out and in again a couple of times. Got sleep, but still missing steps and calories.
-
reisntall the app. This issue should be eventually resolved as there are discrete times that the cals and steps sync. So steps and cals are synced not for every minute that you do it but accumulative
-
I Re-Login and not see the step and calories. I will wait to see what happens during the day.

Please clear the data of the app.
-
Or uninstall compeltely
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos clearing data solved my issue. Works very well now.

I did create a post but it’s related to the new Android Diary so should be deleted and I will post on this one instead.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos could you please delete my post about syncing between Android and iOS. Apologies for that.
So here we go:So it’s like when syncing the watch with Android SA the Diary data doesn’t go to the IOS SA.
Tonight I will log an activity and will see if it is only for the steps/calories/sleep or activities as well.
After having tested the other way as well (from IOS to Android) it’s like for now the steps/calories/sleep data are not sync to the cloud as if synced from one platform to the other one it stays only on the app we have synced. -

Thanks ill have to double check that one -
This new diary add some beautifuls features, but the search field had diseappear.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Uninstall app and now sync the Step an calories
Thanks -
Agree the diary is an improvement and seems good at first glance, but if I look at my activities in the equivalent section in SportsTracker then that is a LOT more functional and useful.
Do we know what the future of the diary is going to be? If it remains as the simple single list it’s going to be next to useless for monitoring progress and performance, if it gets the ability to search and filter by year and month etc as per SportsTracker, then it could be a solution that keeps me away from the web interface.
Anyone know? Or…is the Android GUI going to change from its SportsTracker roots and this is a spurious discussion?

The application crashes when you log in to the " diary". Uninstall the application and install again. Not help. Even when you re-sync after reinstalling the app duplicated the workout.
-
I’ve just noticed that calories daily “Total” differs from what shown on the watch.
“Active” count is ok.I’m just trying to re-sync completely after deleting app data.
EDIT :
Nope, app count still doesn’t match the watch one -
[SUG] Heart Rate tab
As the sleep, calories and steps sections, Heart rate view would be a nice feature.
No analysis, just data display
