Recording while navigating a route

I am having difficulty in working out how to record a new activity while following a saved route. Does anyone have any tips?

@JeffFenwick In the Ambits and Spartans (& possibly S-series) I believe you start the activity first, then navigate. Have you tried that?

@JeffFenwick Stop navigation, start activity with your navigation route (even you can change navigation route during recording activity). It’s easy.
