@lexterm77 what is MC?
Movescount.com used to be a website for analysis of activity for all Suunto devices back in the days of Ambits.
It had most features you have to pay for now via third party apps. -
@lexterm77 Except QuantifiedSelf is free and provides most of what MC used to.

Sure of course, but you should pay me first so I can pay someone others.
-
@zhang965 I will try my best, let’s hope the bug of payment doesn’t show up.

@Kai-Liu it’s not an upgrade. It’s more of a lateral move. The S9 has a good battery life relative to the S7 sure, but the S9 has about a three day battery life in always on with daily activities.

Perfect description. Both watches are targeting different needs.
One is an smartwatch sport oriented.
The other is sport watch.

But I really like S7 map, it has more information than the hiking project map on my phone and more accurate. S9 does not come with a map but only route, but I always diverge from my planned route depends on unanticipated situations (rain, hiking buddy tired, sunset, etc) so I need a map.

@Kai-Liu
you can create a new itinerary on suunto app and sync it to suunto 9 during the activity. However, this requires data connectivity -

Yes, for S series.
A3P data that syncs to SA is crippled and then it goes to QS, my distance, heart rate, ascend, descent lap data is blank. Power is non existent and no built in epoc graph for endurance pacing analysis. Epoc would need licensing from FB, and Ambit power data would need to be included from SA side. Maybe it is possible to import from stryd and merged?
