Open water swimming mode customization – swim distance always zero

Have anybody tried to customize open water swimming mode on SSSWHR baro. Today I created custom open water swimming mode as I wanted to have temp readings on the display while swimming. So I customized swimming mode to add temp readings, but when I started that mode there is no data for “Swim distance” field. It always shows zero? Field called “Lap avg swim distance” shows OK values. If I change “Swim distance field” to distance it shows OK values, but instead in meters it shows distance in km? Anybody know how to fix this problem?

@Egika I tried I swam 600m and swim distance was always 0. Even tried to recreate custom swim mode, as a read on forum that it helps, but that also didn’t help. So I think that is a bug. I just wanted to have temp reading on the screen because it was cold. If I put watch in the water and want to see the temperature I need to go to altitude screen. There is problem to switch regular altitude display to show temp as you need to tap the screen which doesn’t work in the water. In the swimming pool it works better than in the sea because of salt. Today I was tapping and tapping and no way to change display to show temp reading before swimming. When I succeded screen was dry and temp wasn’t the same as it was in the water

I think you need to add swim distance field

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I added Swim distance field, but the problem is that it doesn’t work. It doesn’t update values. It always shows zero. If I add distance field (not swim distance) than that filed updates values and shows ok values. As I noticed regular distance filed is displayed in km, but swim distance is in meter which is more appropriate for swimming. Only it doesn’t work. I soft reset the watch and deleted/recreated swim profile, but id didn’t help. I don’t know how to make swim distance filed to show values.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Maybe. Definitely didn’t work in the sea. How to report that bug? Basic open water swimming mode has distance in meters so it would be nice to be able to customize it in the same way.

I have the same issue with my Spartan Sport. Swim distance in openwater mode is still not working.

I can use “distance” instead of “swimming distance”, but it makes “swimming distance” field nonsense.

I have the same problem too. On custom made open water swimming, distance stays at 0meters ( with swim distance) . On basic mode works fine.
