On the weekend my counter for descent (meters) got stuck, so in last 250 meters there were only a view meters counted. Also absolut height did not move much.

Is this a fused alti or baro failure?
    Did anyone have this once?

Happend by entering warmer woods from cooler mountains…

@mountainChris when my baro was broken always after leaving the warm house for a few kilometers I had a fall in altitude despite a flat section.
Try the test with the fridge.

@Maryn thanks, I noticed now, that also the hm in watch face are highly wrong, after weekend activity.

What do I have to test in fridge? Had it in there. Nothing happened. Same altitude…

Did you sent in the watch and get a repair or new Baro inside or new watch?

          @mountainChris
Test fridge can Show you a baro issue, but then, first thing to try, is a deep baro sensor cleaning.
Once sure it can not be cleaner, and if fridge test still positive, then repair is the solution.

@Mff73 What should happen in fridge? Altitude should go down? I have to be in sport mode?

@mountainChris shouldn’t be changed, maybe some meters because of different pressure.
              I had a difference about 40-50m

@mountainChris I found my old post.

"Before fridge test altimeter show 123 m

                  After 30 min in fridge I got 60 m .

When the temp was raising the altitude was raising too .

                  60 m temperature -12
                  71 m temperature -5
                  113 m temperature 27"

You have to clean your baro sensor as much as possible, and redo the test after sensor dry enough. If same kind of changes, open a RMA to suunto support to repair your watch.
The altitude must not change from temperature change (except some meters like said, for little pressure dif in the fridge, but once open, it should be the same (almost)).
