I’ve installed, deleted and re-installed google maps,
      I’ve restarted my watch.
Location service is enabled in all of my settings.
I got the message “waiting for location”.
      I’m a iOS user.

      Anyone a solution ?

Do you get the same error outdoors as well? Looks like you may be testing indoors.

Yes, just went outside, no luck. While waiting, I started up the Suunto app and got GPS lock within 20 seconds.
Switched back to google maps and still the same, no location

@Tom-Broekaert I think this is a Google Map issue, I had this occur too and it does not occur with the Suunto app. View Ranger, another 3rd party app had no problems with location either, so I dumped Google Maps off of the watch, it rarely worked.

              @Tom-Broekaert check for permissions perhaps.

Location permission is granted on all google apps and in settings.
                Still no succes

I haven’t had any issues, but then have android phone.

You could check if it is iPhone issue or app issue by doing the following:
Disconnect your phone from wifi/bluetooth and see if app gets location. If it doesn’t you know it is more of app issue, then would suggest an uninstall and reinstall.

if it does locate then it must be issue re syncing via the phone as it is probably trying to use location via phone (assuming the GPS on your phone is switched on - also you might want to check if you need to change a permission on your phone - have a work iphone so don’t delve too much into them and know very little about them).

Apologies - off topic - if you have an iPhone why haven’t you just gone with the AW? What made you decide on the S7 knowing you would have limitations compared to AW?

                    I’ll give that a try @Jamie-BG .
In my post here on this forum "new Suunto 7 user " you can read the reason for switching.
I had worse heartrate readings, did not had continious heartrate at all, and scattered all over.
Now I do have consistent heartreadings.
