How many activities (hours) can we track before we have to sync to the phone, so that tracking app doesn’t stop tracking and or start overwriting old history. Thinking of case where you may not be able to sync for a couple of days for whatever reason.

I have no idea how big the file is that holds a total activity (would think it was reasonably small) and have no idea if it is limited to storing it on the internal section of the 8GB (or even if that 8GB is split or not but assumie it is based on the comments on how much space is available for music) or the external section, and how much space would be available on the internal and or external section at any one time (I have an app that provides that for the external, but not natively provided by the watch).

Does anyone know this or do I need to enquire from suunto support?

@Jamie-BG The only thing I can tell you is that in July I did a long 2 day trip and carried a charger. I was able to record 2 ~15h days with no issues. I suspect the watch can hold a lot more.

Its using the data partition so that is user space.

80h should be ok and I am waiting for details 😄

That is good to know that it is a non-issue and you could go days without syncing. Thank you

@Jamie-BG also, if you have your phone you can sync even if offline.

Thanks - yes aware of that. Was more thinking along the lines if couldn’t take phone on a trip, and or if phone broken.
