I’ve had my Suunto 9 since May and it’s off to the repair centre for some TLC. It has a habit of crashing and requiring a hard reset via Suunto Link, which wipes all my data causing some frustration. I don’t know if it’s a hardware issue or something to do with the software on the watch - but Suunto have said to send it back to them to look at. Bit worried about how long it’s going to be away for now having seen some of the other threads posted on here. 😢 Anyone else had a similar issue?

If support said to send it, why are you worried ?

Do you think it’s worse to wait 4/5 days for repairing or to keep using a (probably) defective watch resulting in a bad user experience and data loss ?

Definitely looks like weird behavior from your watch. Today my S9 is one year old (🍰 day!) and I’ve never had such issues.

@sartoric True - I’ve just read about repairs taking a very long time at the moment so I am worried I may be without the watch for several weeks - I can’t remember how we used to train before GPS watches! 😄

Does anyone know if I need ot send the power cable as well or just the watch?
