    Hello,

    it is possible to aad new function for lap button in interval training. It will be the condition like “rest until lap button pressed”
    Example the function: interval set as uphill running for 1minute. After one minute is the rest session jog down until reach bottom of the hill. At that point I press lap button, rest ends and second interval starts

    Now I can set the rest session only for duration or distance. But I cant tell to Spartans, how long I jog down. 😊

    Thank you a lot

      I read some trick for that somewhere in this forum. If I remember right, the trick is set intervals like: number of repeats 1, interval 1 min, rest 0 sec. and press reset intervals everytime when you want to start new uphill run.

          @paata I did uphill running like 3,2,1,1,2,3min up/ rest down.
          i set intervals like you wrote number of repeats 1, interval 1 min, rest 0 sec.
          when interval ends, I set new duration for interval.
          but, when I finish exercise, my watch shows me only the last interval 3min.
          on SA or strava its like this 1 x 180.0s / 3Min ; 1 x 120.0s / 2Min ; 1 x 60.0s / 1Min ; 1 x 60.0s / 1Min ; 1 x 120.0s / 2Min ; 1 x 180.0s / 3Min ;
          i think it doest look good, and on watches it is totaly crap.

            @Juraj-Šintál agree with you. A potential request would be the ability to modify the interval’s format description in advance (in the settings for example). Lets say we do the following workout:

            5 x 200m + 5 x 300m + 5 x 400m with 1 minutes between intervals, and 3 minutes rest between sets.

            The description of this workout would be too lengthy with lot of unnecessary data ( etc heart rate and speed, for some at least). What I am proposing is to choose the format in the settings, for example:

            [interval repetition] x [distance/time] @ [pace/speed/heart rate] / [interval rest]; [set rest]; + [next interval…];

            This way we would get rid of irrelevant data (to our training) and having shorter descriptions with the desire parameters. Of course you could edit the description in the end, but this is too time consuming to do on each run (if you follow a specific description format) and also description transferred to training partners (training peaks, Strava, Quantified-self etc) would also needs editing.

            Hope my point is clear.
