Problem recording distance

While riding my bike, the kilometers and time isnt correct . At one time my watch stops recording my speed and time. The total time was correct and hartrate also counted. When is see in the route map i see that the route isnt recording continuesly. It jumps from point to point. When i rode back home it was correct. But the day after it was afain wrong. Any idea what is happening
