    @sartoric it’s the active calories that I’m not so sure on. Rest of the day looks close enough.

    Always carry a flaggon of whiskey for snakebite; and furthermore, always carry a small snake.

    User of pretty much every watch since the Ambit 3 Peak. Now back in the family w SV :)

      @stromdiddily
      I mean that 400 includes the active ones AND the metabolic calories burnt during the training.
      So if Whoop measure only active ones , you’ll surely find differences

      SVTS - 2.40.38
      SSSWHR BARO Amber - 2.8.32
      Samsung A5 2016 - Android 7.0
      Samsung A33 2022 - Android 14 - One UI 6.1
      Suunto App Android 5.2.5 beta
      Suunto App IOs 2.45.0 (19123) beta on MBP M1

          In my tests, I made the experience that Garmin and Suunto deliver almost identical values and Polar significantly more. I don’t think they can really measure their calories exactly.

            @Kurt68 no they can’t. I also heard that our bodies adapt to exercise to a point where total daily calories consumption is the same if we have an active lifestyle or not. Will link to sources later 🙂

                This is the material I was talking about. The page contains the podcast, plus links to articles. Very interesting (according to me).

                  @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos oh OK. Thought it was based off of the body metrics. Don’t think there is a weights specific profile but perhaps I could create a running specific then play around w the default values 🤔

                    @Brad_Olwin did a 9 hour backcountry trip and feeled pretty hungry after that, too. In General I think the calculation works for when seeing on my activity level and how many calories I eat
