Suunto 9 Compas Calibrate

Hello everybody,

I have the following problem. My Suunto 9 is not 3 weeks old and I am a little annoyed. I calibrated it in advance and every time I jog, it reports in the middle of the workout and wants to be calibrated again. I can leave it and at some point I see my screen again, then mostly I missed the intervals. This is a self-created sport mode. I’ve already reset the clock. Anyone an idea? Vlt incorrectly calibrated? How is it right, on the arm or watch in hand?

@live_the_wonder_of_nature Do you have ANY magnets on your clothing (or carried kit - hydration bladders sometimes have clips …)? Does your route go anywhere near large EM sources like electrical grid power transformers?

@live_the_wonder_of_nature Exactly what @Fenr1r said, my magnets for hydration tube cause this. Another person had glove magnets to hold finger section onto the back of the glove cause this. Any nearby strong magnets will do this.

Good Morning,

When I run, I only have a small light with me, which has a dynamo and thus lights up. Can it be? Otherwise I have nothing with me, except for a cell phone and keys in a bum bag.

Dynamo contains a magnet
it is worth trying to hold it with other hand or to change light for testing.

I just looked at the description of the dynamo running light. A magnet is actually installed here. I will test whether the problem still occurs when I attach this to the other side of my belt.

A short feedback on this:

In fact, it was because of my Dynamo chase. Without this, the clock will run normally again!
