I cannot work out how to export a gpx from iOS version of Suunto App. There are some posts about this on the forum, but all for Android. When I try to follow instructions on these posts, they are not describing the same App as I am using on iPhone. Please can someone tell me how to do this?
This is the main thing I need to be able to do with my Traverse watch. If I cannot export .gpx… anyone want to buy a 2nd hand Traverse for cheap?

    Thanks for any help. Gidzy

On my side, easy way (not free): install run gap, buy the swag bag, dropbox => gpx .
For about 8eur a year it gets you covered with a lot of other features.

@gidzy what exactly do you want to export? The activity or the route recorded within activity?

@andré-faria I also use run gap to synchronise between Garmin and Suunto - it’s very simple and certainly worth the subscription.

I also have a Traverse and had the same question. See this thread. Was able to get it answered (see responses, works for IOS):

            https://forum.suunto.com/topic/5736/clarification-on-downloading-gpx-route-share-method-not-working?_=1613366874962

Basically you open the activity in the app, save it as a route from the menu (right upper corner), then go to maps (middle icon at bottom of app main screen). Then click your routes (lower right icon, looks like a bookmark or a rectangle with an arrow bit out of it). Select the route you want and click the share icon. It will give you a URL link. Put that in your browser and it will get you to download a gpx.

@gidzy To follow @André-Faria & @andrasveres, if you want to extract a GPX track rather than a route, here’s @Mff73’s guide to doing so for free.

I’d just add that, if you’ll be using that track on a computer anyway, you can export the activity’s FIT file from the App and extract the track GPX using a utility like GPSBabel.
