      Dear all,

is it possible to completely deactivate/switch off the optical HRM integrated in the watch?

So far I can deactivate the wrist HRM only individually for each sport mode and also that is not set permanently.

Any information in this direction would help. How are you dealing with this issue?

      Thank you!

@matthias220841 to my knowledge this is not possible. Are you using an external HR monitor or you do not want HR at all?

@isazi thank you for your prompt reply.

When I am training (and using the the watch in a sport mode) I am using the HR belt (smart sensor). When I am not training, I don’t want to monitor the HR at all.

@matthias220841 scroll down to HR widget, long hold middle button and toggle Daily HR off. You can also find it in the settings nested in some directories. This is a quicker way to turn everyday OHR use off and save battery.

@northeast_trekker nice! Thank you. I will try it out later today (currently I don’t have the watch with me).

@matthias220841 as @northeast_trekker said you can disable the daily HR monitor from the setting, and if you wear an HR belt during your activities there is no need to turn off the optical HR sensor, the external sensor is always the preferred option if paired and the watch will turn off the wrist sensor automatically as soon as you start your activity.

@isazi Also good to know that the HR belt is the preferred option!

                  Thx again!
