      @bradleyd
Hi, thanks for the replay. But im not looking for a reset, just want to turn off the watch.
My wife is a nurse and she cant always be with her Suunto 5 when she is working. (we bought 2, one for eachother), so she wants to turn off when she is not using her watch.

      Thanks for the help

@sérgio-pontes Its not possible yet Sergio. It might be in the future.

If she leaves it on the table it will not use a lot of battery. On the table a watch would last more than 1month.

Thanks, that was what i told her 🙂 🙂
But i’ve been wondering, is there a OFF and On botton?

Sorry, we’ve been with Garmin for the last 10 years, and now we decided it was time to go to Suunto.

But as you can see, we are pretty newbies 🙂

The comment from @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos matches my experience, leaving the S5 resting on a soft surface will allow it to go into a very battery efficient hibernate mode. I’ve never tried, but I think a full month is totally reasonable expectation. Wake-up is fast and you may catch the screen refreshing as you pick it up. This is a great feature, love that the battery use is so low when not being worn.

@sérgio-pontes there is no on/off. Just take off and put on a table or shelf. Make sure not too many vibrations or the watch will wake up. Mine lasts at least three weeks with no charge if not on my wrist.

@sérgio-pontes there is no button todo that. However it can be done via Software. Ie it could be a menu option.
It is possible to power it off but you need to factory reset it as well

                    Hello Sergio!
                    Welcome to our community.

In order to enter hibernate mode faster - you can try to use power save mode in your watch.
You can turn it on/off fast and according to a situation.

Thanks a lot, i was wondering why that saving power mode was for. Its only to hibernate more fast?

@sérgio-pontes turns off other things as well such as OHR , BT etc. And lowers the backlight.

Typically this is automatically enabled at 5% battery
