you could buy a few of them on Aliexpress. For instance this:

I know for sure some testers have been using the new strap for activities. Some of them are even in the forum.

@cristian-0 any knock-off versions of the new microfiber strap?

100$ is way to much for a strap although, I didn’t found anything similar online.

@isazi I have been using the soft strap since Xmas for everything. Mointinbike, paddling, running, swimming.
It may not be as shiny as when new, but there’s no sign of wear at all.

@egika Thank you good to know. I certainly wasn’t being negative but in reality it’s a new type of band in a way so there wasn’t much to go on. In a traditional sense you wouldn’t think it would hold up to water, smell, dirt and such but if it does that’s great to hear.

@jeremiah-dudek I have been using one of these straps for some time as well. It is easily washed off so I don’t think there is much problem.

Same here, used for activities since some months back and looks perfect. For me the negative aspect is takes time to keep complete dry. You can’t wash and wear dry inmediatelly. For this is better the silicon strap.

@cristian-0 I’m not sure about that - the strap looks to thick. And since it’s nylon, pretty stiff also.
I saw thin nylon straps on Ali, will maybe pick one up soon. I’ll write a short review after it arrives.

@дима-мельниченко I have seen a few straps better than this… and too much similar to the original suunto strap… but I didn’t find it .

This “AliExpress beafiry Store” looks like it has some good nylon, leather, carbon fibre, and stainless steel straps.
Nylon straps look very thin compared to the one displayed above.
