Movescount --> Suunto App

Could you be more specific about data move to Mc? As new app do not move anything to Mc.
Seems you have synchronization in movescount to sportstracker and I strongly advice to disable it as you will end with duplicated workouts. -
@slash you can connect MC to Suunto App from the last update

where is this option in profile? I cannot find it
-
HI,
If you have some tracks on Suunto App ( Sport Tracker ) and Movescount . ¿ You recomend import from Suunto App ? ¿ Or it is possible have duplicate tracks ?
-
@tazio390 and you will end with duplicated workouts if you will sync activities to Mc which as well are synced already to suunto app.
-
Thanks a lot
-
@slash and why has this functionality been put in place?
then? -
@jorgefd78 under “Profile” Connect to other services, movescount.
-
@slash before connecting the account to movescount it was written that by connecting the accounts you could also upload older movescount activities to the Suunto App, so I wonder, if you tell me they’re duplicated, why do you put this feature?
-
What I need, is to sync my old workouts from Movescount to Suunto app (but not the workouts that are already synced with Suunto app) and then I need to sync all my new workouts from Suunto app to Movescount going forward.
-
@marius-jacobsen-eggerud yes, the same… I thought that with this feature was the case … instead no, now I have the app blocked that continues to do Crash

Very happy that with the last update finally the old movescount data until the last are synchronized with the Suunto App! now only missing Strava then there is everything
Let MC do the syncing! Connect to Strava from the web MC. Once uploaded from the app it will sync. Frankly I would rather Suunto keeps MC and it would require only one connection from the app. All syncing could be handled by MC on the web.
-
@brad_olwin However, transferring data from your phone to Strava is quite necessary rather than done with the cable…
-
@tazio390 I am saying once the app (SA) uploads to MC then MC will sync to any connected services. We do not need direct syncing from the app. No cables!
-
@brad_olwin yep, in fact I thought that with the last update this happened, but unfortunately not and indeed the app crashes all the time…
-
@tazio390 my app is not crashing yet. I will try a test move.

-
@slash but I’ m stuck, i.e. it keeps crashing now…
-
Test move has not transferred to MC yet. Will update.
