@héctor interestingly enough, there was a similar post just a couple of weeks ago. I think it’s definetely possible since watch is made water tight by applying adheasive. Adheasive becomes less effective with aging. How old is your watch?
It’s a bummer in any case! Hopefully you can get it repaired or maybe trade it in or something.

I would contact suunto. It is stated that some spartans have 3 year warranty due to some issues.

@andré-faria but warranty doesn’t usually include water damage.

True, but seems a bit daft though when you have a watch that has 100m water resistance. A rating of 10ATM should really give the user reassurance that it’s going to be okay in a swimming pool ?!

And it has swimming activity. Still, here it won’t solve anything, you need to contact suunto.
If out of warranty, whatever you get is luck. Sending a message via facebook or site doesn’t cost anything 😃

@miniforklift yeah, it throws me off as well. Previous I was swimming with my watch in a pool, but now I probably won’t.
Sure, it probably will be fine, but I don’t want to risk it.

A friend of mine had a S7 dead while swimming cause battery died in the middle and never charged again after, guess this is different, but he got a new one from Suunto warranty 🙂
