Has the way the Suunto 9 measures sleep HR changed sometime at the middle of May? I used to get consistent values in the 47-52 range. Then, suddenly I started seeing only values in the 53-58 range. It was around I got my second dose of the covid vaccine (but definitely a few days before) so I didn’t bother with it. But here we are 4 months later and I haven’t had a sub 50 value at all in all this time. The values are still consistent, only in the higher range.

Recognized when sleeping in the tent a get better sleep than home. The average hr is actually significant lower. Maybe some changes in your habits er cause for your changes on hr?

@onthesummit check training maybe. But there are many things that can increase night HR from late night food, to alcohol etc

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I’m glad to know that nothing changed in the way Suunto measures this metric so now I can search for a different explanation.
There were no major changes in lifestyle or training habits in the 2 timeframes I presented. The night were hotter during the summer, but that has now changed back for more than 4 weeks. Also it seems I’m getting more sleep.
