    Hi all,

    Do you no if it’s possible to zoom during navigation on the elevation profile. When you are doing long distance (bike or trail), it’s not easy and not accurate to see exactly where you are on the elevation profile during ascent.

    If it’s not possible, it would be a nice feature to have 😊

    Thanks,

    Cédric

      @cédric-dodrimont AFAIK there is no option to do that.
      I often find myself in this situation as well. So far I used my smartphone (if it is not race)

        Suunto is aware of that 😉

          @isazi Thanks for your reply.
          The navigation is already very good, with this feature, it will be perfect 😉

            @cédric-dodrimont the feedback has been provided to Suunto, more than once. I am not Suunto, so I cannot say if and when it will be implemented, but at least I can tell you you are not alone in wanting this 🙂

              @isazi ,btw it would be cool to have surface types in either navigation or elevation profiles.

                  @isazi This sounds like a nice feature!
                  I realize the following questions/suggestions might be only partially related to the topic ( my apologies if that is indeed the case). However:

                  1. is the number that appears at the bottom of the altitude navigation screen (Suunto manual calls it remaining ascent or descent) the remaining ascent for the full route we are navigating OR is it referring to the specific hill/peak we are currently climbing?
                  2. if the remaining ascent is referring to the full route - wouldn’t be more precise (and/or potentially easy to implement) to have additional data fields in the altitude navigation screen to provide the remaining ascent (or distance or percentage) to reach the top of the current ascent?
                    Thanks

                      @dmytro Thanks! I suspected but was not fully sure; I did not have an opportunity to check.
