S9 baro resetting during activity

The watch is re-setting itself after starting an activity, this only happens when navigation is turned on to follow a loaded GPX route. It then takes a long time to lock the GPS again, sometimes needing to sync with SuuntoApp before anything happens. Not ideal. Interested to know if anyone else is having similar issues? Pretty sure it’s not the watch as my original was replaced (for that same reason). Thanks.

@phillip-morgan hm, cannot help with the restart issue. I am sorry to hear that. That must be frustrating. However, answer for the second question - long GPS lock, is quite obvious. After restart, A-GPS information is lost. Without A-GPS, GPS lock can take up to several minutes. Therefore, it is recommended to sync your watch with APP, after restart. A-GPS is updated in the watch then and GPS lock should take few seconds. My personal experience is that even after syn with app it is good to wait a minute or two, to alllow the watch to process newly synced A-GPS and only then start activity/navigation…

@zadow Thank you, I understand the time to get GPS lock now so will be sure to have my phone with me (and hope for a good signal!).
