      Hi - I currently have both. Had the Peak first and love it with exception of I wish it were about 20% bigger (form factor and bigger numbers for my 52 year old eyes). I’m used to Fenix 6X size watches so I’m still trying to get used to the smaller size. Anyhoo, I bought a 9 Baro Titanium to compare and much prefer the size. However, after updating firmware such that the two are very similar in functionality, the 9 Baro does a weird thing on the Outdoor face. If I don’t click the middle button for a few minutes, the sun up/down indicator sort of freezes and the darker parts turn white. Anyone had this issue? Any way to fix it?

        @hollis-baugh I’m not really sure what you mean. Can you post a picture of this issue?

        There is a change in color on the S9B if it goes into lock mode (1 min of inactivity) This results in less color usage. Clearly visible on the sun dial of the outdoor watchface but not on the other watchfaces.

          @hollis-baugh In addition to what @surfboomerang said, the Peak has a higher contrast and higher resolution screen plus an ambient backlight sensor. So, the Peak will likely appear to have brighter colors. The behavior is normal.

            Thanks for the feedback. The 4:39 pic shows the white part on the outer ring. I suppose the inactivity piece is the reason, but it basically renders that watch face pointless since you have to hit the middle button to see the current data other than time of day. The 4:40 pic shows each watch out of lock mode.

              @hollis-baugh Ah… now I see.
              I never expected the color to change that much. Normally you would see less color differences in the sunset and sunrise period, but I have never seen a complete color change from blue to white.

              Do other colors behave the same on this watchface?

                @surfboomerang Yes, I just tried the red color and it does the same thing.

                  @hollis-baugh I disagree a bit here, in the 4:39 image on the baro you can clearly see the baro pressure (black line at light vs dark green and up from that clearly the blue is not black (it gets darker until the sun is down then turns white so you can read the numerals). So in reality I can see the same data on both watches but the implementation is different and the Peak is easier to read. BTW, I much prefer the size of the Peak, it is great for me as the baro is just too big.

                    @brad_olwin said in 9 Baro Titanium vs 9 Peak:

                    Incorrect: S9P has lower resolution, smaller screen, and lower PPI

                    S9P 1,2 inch display, 240x240 pix res. 30,48 mm /240 ppi = 7,78 pp/mm
                    S9B 1,34 inch display, 320x320 pix res. 34,06 mm /320 ppi = 9,39 pp/mm.

                    BUT…

                    S99 has higher contrast which can be observed in some specific cloudy weather conditions. In direct sunlight, S9P is easier to read (sharper bigger fonts)
