Re: Will Suunto 7 have an update for Wear OS 3?
I understand the Sunnto 7 is not going to receive an update for Wear OS3.
Is this even legal? The Sunnto 7 is still available through some retailers and therefore is still a “new watch”. Later versions of the Sunnto watches had functionality removed - NFC Pay etc.

I will be seeking legal advice if my watch ceases to function correctly.

I am sure Apple lost this case with the OS upgrades killing old devices just to make people buy new ones when there was nothing wrong with older devices.

Of course it is fully legal to not offer updates. Even more so, if they would not run on the current hardware.
You buy what is advertised as of today.
If your retailer sells you the Suunto 7 with false statements you have a claim against them.
But what could this false statement be?

@Reacher999 I don’t think you will get far with legal action against Google! You should read about Wear OS3 to determine the responsible party.
