I love my Suunto watch thanks!
As always, people will want things that aren’t available and for me that’s two things -
Watch faces with larger, more readable complications. It’s not hard to do, just increase the size, test it on people like me, then add it to the list.
Building a cloud architecture to store watch settings in a granular fashion so for example I could do a clean install but only restore routes and custom sports - which is a much more complex undertaking!
My only other criticism is that I don’t have enough money to buy a Vertical 2

Hey! Here’s a small update for this small app!
Main thing - it now supports longer IDs up to 12 digits.
Another cool thing: now you can choose between a regular squarish QR and a more fancy rounded QR style, and you can change the color of the QR code, maybe to match the strap color.
! But please make sure that the QR code is readable by the volunteer app with custom colors!

also forgot to mention
I noticed that share from suunto app doesn’t work well…so if you want to share this app to your friends - you could use this link - https://splus.athletica.one/parkrun
i opens the parkrun page directly in suunto app if it installed or just show the web version of app page.

@Nikolai-Simonov Sadly Suunto still only allows two apps per sports mode so until they change, I’ll have to skip this and keep my existing ones.
It would be nice if they tiered apps in terms of how much overhead they take up. I’d imagine this is super lightweight as far as CPU cycles and memory is concerned, it shouldn’t be subject to the limit.

@Steven-Hambleton with the last update you can enable now 3 suunto apps.
-
@OutdoorMan Only on Race 2 and Vertical 2

But I am just curious what other 2 apps one would use for Parkrun?
-
@aiv4r ah, that’s true, forgot about it.
-
@OutdoorMan Not on a Race S though.

Thanks for this app. I had it working as the only S+ app activated on my Race S. I then went to show my wife how to install it. Turned off Parkrun on my watch. Tried to turn it on again - getting the “Maximum amount of SuuntoPlus apps enabled” error, despite no other apps turned on. Tried on her watch - same error. Eventually after fiddling around I got it working on hers, then briefly on mine, but now it’s not working again. At one point had Safe and Parkrun both enabled, but then Parkrun spontaneously dropped out while Safe was still there. Disabled Safe, but still won’t activate. Is the “too many apps” logic in the app or the watch? Seems very odd behaviour.

It is the watch, not the app. I read about this error a week or two ago, but cannot remember in which thread…

Try to hold upper button for 12 seconds to soft reset, then sync the watch with the app.
See if you can enable it afterwards.
