I started to record my daily walking the dog activities to get a better overall picture.

My problem is that a 2km casual walk seems to get a similar TSS as a 30 x-ski or swim in which I’m putting in a lot of effort. This doesn’t seem correct to me

@Alexander-Turner TSS is measured via HR. If you have the same HR with any other activity then I think thats ok

@Alexander-Turner I use rTSS for walks and get, what feels like, accurately low TSS results. Like you, using hrTSS always gave me high numbers. In fact, I’ve turned off the OHR for walks because, for me, the sensor doesn’t work well at lower hear rates. This forces the Suunto App to use rTSS due to the lack of HR data.

You can also choose which TSS to use for each activity by going to the activity’s menu (ellipsis in corner) and selecting Edit > TSS calculation method.
