      Hello the community,
My trusty Suunto 9 Baro titanium watch that I bought at the end of 2018 (so it’s been a few years now), seems to be starting to show little signs of weakness…
It still works fine, the battery is still holding the charge too, but it’s the barometer function that doesn’t seem to work properly anymore… indeed the barometer oscillates positive or negative while I’m not moving, sometimes in good proportion. I have tried cleaning the sensor area and rebooting the watch, but nothing has corrected the malfunction.

So I wanted to know if there was anything I could do? because the watch works really well on all other functions except the barometer. The problem is that I do a lot of mountains climbing/bicycle and the barometer is very useful.
But maybe the watch is now too old and and the barometric function has reached the end of its life - is this possible?

So I’m really annoyed that I might have to replace my watch, which has always worked well for me.
      Can I do something ?
      Thanks for your help

@Pierre-L I would try and clean the sensor once more and put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol to displace any residual water and dry it in a warm place. Sometimes drops of water will trap and put pressure on the sensor giving erratic readings.

I would try that before I would say the sensor is bad.
