115+ sports mode - but no Hyrox? Why?
-
@soisan I just trust @Olaf-Gottschalk
- never needed Multisport. You mean it’s wrong? Did you try? -
@ChrisA It’s always better to try yourself and not trust somebody you don’t really know! I tried it myself and it works, I can have Run in a multisport activity as many times as I want…
-
@soisan well, since it’s not a use case for me I didn’t see much sense in trying, but if it’s working, you might help @Olaf-Gottschalk in creating a better Hyrox experience with his Suunto with your experience in creating multisports sportsmodes with multiple running sessions in it
He seems quite unhappy with his Suuntos, telling from most of his posts. -

@soisan of course I tried it, but did not manage to do it.
I really struggle to understand the concept of Suunto’s sports modes.
It starts with that every time I wanted to edit my display or create a sport mode, the Suunto App tells me that there is no space left on the device. It claims I have used up all (20) and need to delete some.That’s completely wrong. I never ever did that, so why is it always full? I don’t understand this concept.
Then I “deleted” one and created my Multisport mode. Selected running and some others. But you only have check boxes, so how do you ever get more than one “running”?

Maybe because Hyrox is not a sport?
Anyway, who cares about step counting during CrossFit sessions? The value would be meaningless anyway, unless you connect the watch to an external camera so it can understand what you are doing… -
@Olaf-Gottschalk I’ve used the Crosstrain option for the majority of my races, but I’m going to try an experiment with my next race. I have recently got a Stryd pod, so once it’s calibrated and I trust it, I’ll create a Multisport for Indoor Running / Cross Training. Reason I’m doing this is that I’m trying to improve my times and the best way to do this is in the runs.
